Bin sehr enttäuscht. Befülle sie und nach 2 Stunden sind sie leer. Von wegen bewässern langsam in bis zu 9 Stunden. Ich kann sie nicht empfehlen.

Drains Fast AF

Drains pretty fast for my liking. May as well water the tree yourself.

Definitely not perfect

I've only used these twice in the last two weeks. Problems: 1. Not all the water comes out. It's hot now, and that then heats up the leftover water during the day. Hoping that is not a problem effecting longevity of the product. There's not so much water left that it can't be cooled down by fresh hose water when refilling. 2. A lot of air goes in with the water from the hose and so it falsely inflated? I end up turning the hose off and pushing the valve to release some of the air to fill it up some more. Directions do not mention anything about this. 3. Does not work for the one tree I have on a hill. There are only two small straws that release water. They are on opposite sides of the donut, at the midline. So all the water below those straws (half the donut) doesn't come out.

So so

It is nice the water is dispersed slowly but you still have to stand and bend with a hose to fill up the bags every time

Not As Good As Higher Priced Rings
I bought these based solely on the price. The tree rings that are like these (with the diaper pellets) on another site I felt were way over priced (about $35 per bag) .... but I do have about 20 of the higher priced rings. I still feel like they are overpriced. But if you think you will get the same quality with these, you won't. These rings feel like they have maybe 1//2 at best the number of pellets in them. The weave of the material allows the pellets to ooz through the fabric so these are not as good of quality as the higher prices one.
On the other hand for the price I feel like I got my money's worth. I'm rating them average because they do meet what I expect for the price. Had I received these at this price and the gel pellets once wet did not ooz from the material I would have gone 4 stars. Overall I don't expect the jelled pellets to harm my trees. These mats do keep enough water in them that even during the drought we've had (but I do spray water on them during extremely dry periods) that my new pecan trees have not suffered or struggled. And the black mat does help with weeds and to hold moisture in the ground around the roots.

Be VERY delicate with these!
For the price and the value these are worth getting, but the mesh on the bottom of the rings is very weak and prone to ripping if you aren’t VERY careful when placing them. I had one tear open as it was scraped across fresh mulch, and two more than exploded on their own when allowed to soak overnight. The instructions say to soak for 5 hours or more - they do NOT say to not let them soak for 10 hours. They’re doing their job, but losing 3 of them to their weak build is disappointing.

Soaked bags for 5 hours, many did not fill up all the way. One bag broke on first use and all the stuff inside got all over
