I decided to go with this kit because the Schluter system is just ridiculously priced. This is a similar system and is effective when installed with the correct techniques. I used Aquadefense as an additional waterproofing. With it being foam, you have to be careful to not squish the foam pan or curb, but same with Schluter. Highly recommend to save the money and use this kit.

A lot cheaper than the ones sold at the big box stores. First time I’ve ever installed a shower and had to cut it down a little but it worked well. I’d buy another if I do another shower install.
