Everything seems fine but the paint. If you lay it on anything while you are drilling the holes, make sure it's laying on a soft surface because it scratches very easily.I paid over $300 for this one. Now I see them for under $200. Not happy about that.

Loved it!! Easy to install but it would be great if it came with drill bit to make wholes.

Do yourself a favor and go get the other kind of anchors! half a day install was a surprise.... the rail is great but not wrought iron, pain is generally good, but certainly not perfect....probably worth the cost for sure

Received prior to estimated arrival. Parts bag split inside packaging and hardware was loose. Unfortunately, there was also a hole in the box and several anchor bolts were lost. Customer service offered an immediate [very generous] credit. For promptness and customer service they deserve 5 stars. As an aside, although the top handrail is wrought iron, the balusters and supports are hollow steel tubes. The finish is gloss black and does not seem to be a powder finish; however, this matches my other decorations and I like it so I did not subtract any stars!

Used 3/8 drill bit to drill into brick stair and brick walkway. The only negative was lack of detail in product description. We bought the 1x handrail for 1 step.It is built for a 7 1/2 step riser. I had an 8 inch riser, so I had to add a filler to level it out. It was great quality and very sturdy. I would definitely recommend!

The initial purchase was deceiving because the description led me to believe I was getting two rails. However, the first set came in three days and the second set was much sooner than advertised. They look great and I won't be busting my 88year old butt anymore!

Excellent rail gives security for steps . Difficult to install need 2 people.
