Using the old type of spring compressor takes an hour a spring to remove and install new springs on a strut. This design took only four minutes to swap out. Incredible tool.

This works great if you add some things to make it work safely and more securely. First, I went out and bought better bolts and a set of wider washers to bolt the jack to the base because the included bolt/nut was lacking. Also, need a ratchet strap for safety/securing the strut as the chain included is nearly useless. As far as using it, it can be tricky depending on the strut you're trying to compress. In a lot of cases unbolting the top arm and sliding it down is a necessary adjustment to compress a lot of shorter sedan type struts/springs. Overall I'm glad I bought this.

Came rather quickly and it has two sets of claws for the smaller struts. It does come disassembled, but wasn't hard to assemble. So far used it twice, like a charm.

Very well made and looks rigid for the price of it can_ complain.

Very happy with item was able to change the coil springs safely on a Fiat Ducato. Delivery was quick from Germany to UK

MUCH easier and safer than the traditional cheap clamp type compressors. Was able to easily change struts on F-150. Don't think I could have done it with the cheap compressors due to springs being so stiff.

Produit de bonne qualit, stable, pr_ de 30 kg, amortisseur tr_ bien maintenu, hydraulique puissante. Tr_ rassurant en terme de s_urit. Bien positionner la tige de l' amortisseur pour qu' elle remonte verticalement et bien centr_ par rapport au ressort, la platine inf d' amorto n' est pas tjrs horizontale selon les mod_es. Permet de changer les coupelles et les ressorts si besoin. Vite rentabilis et gain de temps la manip
