Pretty good for the price
The hand wheel was gritty when received and needed dismantling and cleaning. After this operation was smooth. Rotation locks are not the most convenient on my small machine, getting obstructed or being inaccessible. Provision for clamping in vertical position is a little limited and I may well have to construct a mounting plate which will require some modification to the body of the table. Table runout was fine for my purposes and the Morse taper centre is good. The crank handle does not spin so its not the most comfortable. Overall good value for money.

Although I have not had a chance to use this rotary table yet, at first impressions it looks well finished and much more precise than the one I bought for about the same price at Chronos 5 years ago. It also runs much more smoothly. I hope it will be as good as it feels.

Qualität ist für den Preis in Ordnung
Der Planschlag war kleiner 0.01mm, Rundlauf in der Kegelbohrung ca. 0.015mm. Da ich eine relativ hohe Genauigkeit benötige, habe ich das Ding zerlegt und die einzelnen Bauteile ohne das zähe Fett vermessen. Die Plangenauigkeit des Grundkörpers ist mit meinen Mitteln fast nicht zu messen und liegt deutlich unter 0.01mm, die Parallelität der Aufspannscheibe erzeugt dann den erwähnten Planschlag. Die Hauptwelle des Teilapparates hat ca. 0.05mm Spiel und wird hauptsächlich durch das dicke Fett zentriert. Ich werde den Teilapparat mit einer Bronzebüchse versehen, um die von mir angestrebte Genauigkeit zu erreichen. Trotzdem ist der Teiapparat sein Geld wert und die Präzision kann mit vertretbarem Aufwand deutlich erhöht werden.

Surprisingly well built
It is surprisingly well built for this price point! Honestly I have no complaints. The surfaces are machined parallel and accurate, the dials are clearly scaled, and I say it's the same quality as a $500 unit. I knocked it down 1 star for having a little more backlash than I like, but that won't affect the work. Also it took me an hour to get all the preservative oil off if it. But hey - it didn't have a spec of rust so the messy oil did its job !
