Work Great!

My son and the little boy next door have been having a blast with these! We live rural and the boys take it down to the various ponds on the farm next door and drive them. They put them in the pool (unoccupied by any swimmers) and drive them around the pool. They are fast and powerful little boats so you wouldn't want to drive them around a pool or small pond filled with swimmers but in empty areas of water they really zoom! The lights make them usable in the evenings or early mornings too and help you keep track of them. The batteries hold up to the length of time the kid's attention span offers for the activity and the extra battery is great because one can always be charging when the other is in use to ensure there won't be any gap time having to sit and wait for a battery. Any parent knows what it's like for a kid to get a cool toy they love with only 1 battery for it and see the kid get a few minutes of playtime then whine for 4 hours while it charges! This eliminates that scenario by giving you 2 batteries with each boat! Yay! Great idea on the manufacturers part. You can tell the people who made these truly understand kids and parents!

Fun! Will need 8 AA batteries (not included)

This is a great value for this set of 2 RC boats, one blue, and one green. You will need 4 AA batteries for each controller. It comes with batteries for the boats, which can be charged with USB. Those do come charged and ready to go, so you can start using these as soon as you install the AAs in the controller. There is no \"on\" button on the boat, just place in the water and sensors will automatically operate! Also includes spare propellers for each boat. The lights are an especially cool feature, so you can use these at night. These are just the right size and speed for the pond close to our house. Once our kids get more experience, we will take them to the lake in the summer as well

So much fun!

I think any kid, boy or girl, ages 6 - 14, would enjoy these. Not so fast they can’t manage them and they’re crashing all the time, and not so slow they’re boring. In AZ, almost everyone has a pool, but these are even fun in the bathtub, though they’re a bit better in a larger one. Having 2 is great if you want to have races, have 2 kids, or your child has a friend over. It can keep them occupied for quite a while before having to recharge. No problem for a 12 year old to figure out how to use either. Not cheap, but then I rarely find good RC that’s inexpensive. Definitely recommend!

Double boat. Double fun

These are fun, medium-sized remote-controlled speed boats, and I love that it's a 2-in-1 deal, which made racing my son at our local park's pond a lot more enjoyable. The included single 18650 batteries are a bit of a bottleneck, but if you know what you're doing, you can easily upgrade the battery from a 3.7 to a 4.2 lithium-ion polymer, or even connect another 3.7 in series. The battery compartment is large enough to hold both, which opens up more power options. Overall, a great set for racing on the water.

Works Perfectly

This is awesome. There is a bit of water shot upward that trails the boat. The control is really easy. The wheel controls direction and the finger trigger has the boat go straight. When you have it only turn, it has a fairly tight circle. It's maybe one or two fee wide. I like that this is a 2-pack. You and your friend can have fun with two of these together! There are also replacement parts included, like propellors, in case there is damage and an extra battery to each boat in case the first one runs out. The boat can also be controlled from a decent distance. I almost lost track of it in the river but it was still running.

Great RC bracing boats for beginners

These RC boats are great for beginners who are just getting into this entertaining activity. The package that I received had two boats, one blue and the other was an orange. Each boat includes a remote controller, two rechargeable batteries, a charging cable, and extra propellers. The controller requires four AA batteries (not included). The boat itself is well designed, with lovely colors and colored LEDs that activate once in the water. The boat is sealed off, making it waterproof. The boat has no on/off switch, but it does have sensors that turn it on once in the water, which is a feature I really like. The controller has a maximum range of 164ft, making it good for use in some swimming pools and small ponds. My son and I had a lot of fun racing these boats.
