Funktioniert tadellos. Unbedingt das Volumen beachten. Ich habe zuerst die kleine Kammer mit 2 Litern bestellt und dann zus?tzlich noch die mit dem gro?en Volumen. Die Kammer mit 2 Litern war erheblich zu klein, h?tte ich mirvorher gr??er vorgestellt (verglichen mit einem Ma?krug... ;) ). Da hatte ich mich arg get?uscht.Das Produkt jedoch ist tadellos.

I am happy so far with my Bestauto 2 Gallon Vacuum Chamber kit. I chose this vacuum chamber over others because it had all the features I want, but at a fraction of the price compared any other chamber, even smaller sizes. I am happy I choose this size. My first impression is that it looks a bit silly as it's essentially a cooking pot, but that is how most this size look. It's easier for me to use than a glass chamber since I can be clumsy. The handles are very handy. I ordered this to use so I can degas silicone to make molds suitable for pressure casting resin. I am using this with the Orion Motor Tech 3.5cfm Vacuum Pump. This chamber is only 2 gallons, so I find this is a good pump combination to use. My vacuum chamber arrived in good condition and was packaged sufficiently for shipping. The fittings are already assembled but you will need a few tools on hand to start. You need to attach the fittings configuration onto the acrylic lid, I used a 16mm wrench for the nut, a phillips head screw driver for the hose clamps and a 18mm wrench to attach the hose adapter to my 1/4" inlet valve of my vacuum pump. Two Viton? O-Rings and four metal washers are included, do make sure the Viton? O-Rings make contact with the acrylic lid on each side. This is included in the instructions, which are clear and easy to understand. I assembled mine with 2 metal washers on each side of the stem to reduce the protrusion into the chamber. The hose with a 1/4" threaded female end, a silicone mat and a replacement air inlet filter are all included as pictured in the description. I like to put the silicone mat underneath the chamber to keep it in place on my table. If I ever choose to degas epoxy, I will make sure to line the inside of the chamber with a silicone mat for easy clean-up. I do not feel the need to line the inside for silicone.It is stated both in this product listing and in the instructions to not use this with particular chamber with alcohol. I personally would not use this with any solvent as the lid is acrylic. Acrylic is not chemically compatible with solvents. If someone was to do this, I can easily imagine the lid will become damaged and crack during a vacuum cycle. I would find a glass lid instead to use with solvents as some do. I am using this to degas silicone, and possibly resin so this is the right tool for me. I do like that it's light weight. I am storing the vacuum chamber in the shipping box between uses to keep it clean and protect it from any potential damage. All the materials are easy to clean with dish soap and water. I use silicone lubricant on all my metal tools and fittings, so this should last me for a very long time. One thing to keep in mind is to never, ever re-introduce air with the valve opened to the vacuum pump. This will introduce air mixed with oil into the chamber, and therefore into your work. It will also cause back-flow of your pump's inlet valve that can permanently damage the pump. Always make sure that valve to the

Hooked up to my Vevor 8CFM Vacuum pump and works a treat. Put a piece of bubble wrap in when I first tested it and couldn't believe how fast the air was purged. The seal is good and maintained vacuum for several minutes after the pump was turned off. Very happy with this.

This product was delivered promptly and in perfect working order , it does exactly as I wanted and cannot fault the product. I ran it accidentally without centring the lid correctly and the product imploded ( totally my mistake) unfortunately on contacting the seller I cannot purchase the parts that go damaged individually does anyone know where I can purchase the seal and oil filled pressure gauge .
