I live in Stockholm, where we are supposed to have one of the most clean water supplies in the world.
Yeah, right.
It's probably true at the source at Lake Mälaren where the water is pumped and filtered from possible contamination. No doubt.
The reality, however, is that the pipes in our municipal water delivery system are old and rusty and have all sorts of yuck covering them on the inside and this will end up in your kitchen, as I have discovered after using this distiller, when it leaves a thin layer of water in the tank where all the dirt remains and it's DISGUSTING!
Now I can't imagine living without one, so I just ordered another one, this time with a fancy glass canister instead of the plastic one provided with this black distiller.
It will double as a heater too, so have it running during the coldest hours at night, normally, the early morning hours right before and during sunrise, when the electricity normally is the cheapest.
