This unit has two built-in safety systems to prevent the load from falling while idle. The upper-travel limit switch monitors the hook's position as it rises and automatically shuts off the motor when the hook reaches the highest safe point. This prevents overwinding, which could damage the cable drum or cause dangerous over-travel.
The manganese steel hook has a built-in latch that prevents the lifting connection from coming loose when the trolley moves side to side or when the load shifts unexpectedly during the lift. The wired remote has four buttons that let you control the whole system from a single handheld unit: up, down, left (trolley traverse), and right (trolley traverse). This combined layout lets you handle both the vertical lift and the horizontal beam travel from a single controller, so you do not have to move your hand or switch between devices during a move. The 4.6-foot (1.4-meter) cable keeps the worker at a safe distance from the suspended load during the whole process.
An emergency stop button on the remote immediately stops the whole system, cutting power to both the hoist motor and the trolley drive at any point during a run. The emergency stop provides an additional safety measure during operation and is easy to reach thanks to the physical button design.
