pH Meter for Water Testing with Focused pH-Only Measurement for Precision Monitoring
The VEVOR pH meter for water testing (model PH06) is designed specifically for accurate pH measurement, delivering repeatable readings across the entire 0–14 scale with a resolution of 0.01 pH and an accuracy of ±0.1 pH. This pH meter for water testing is designed for users who only need accurate pH measurements without additional testing functions. This makes it ideal for situations where pH is the main or only water quality parameter that needs to be monitored regularly.
The meter's 0.01 resolution lets you see the pH level to two decimal places, like the difference between 6.81 and 6.82. This makes the meter easy to use for routine water quality testing across multiple locations. The PH06's single-parameter focus gives users a clear readout at every test.
Fast-Response IP68-Rated Probe for Direct Immersion Testing Across Water Applications
This meter's electrode probe is safe to put directly into test samples because it has an IP68 rating, which means water cannot damage the probe. This IP68 rating only refers to the probe. Users should be aware that the main unit body is not waterproof and should not touch the liquid surface while testing. The waterproof rating applies to the probe, while the display unit should remain dry during testing. The user holds the display unit above the sample container while submerging the probe beneath the water.
The probe responds quickly, providing a stable reading within a short time after immersion. When monitoring multiple samples in a row during routine sessions, a fast electrode response is very useful. This is because a slow-settling probe takes longer to test each sample and the whole monitoring round at an aquaculture site, greenhouse facility, or pool maintenance visit takes longer.
1 to 3-Point Automatic Calibration with 4.00, 6.86, and 9.18 Buffer Powder Packets
You can automatically calibrate the meter at one point, two points, or three points using the three buffer powder packs that come with the kit. When mixed with distilled water, each one makes a standard reference solution with a pH of 4.00, 6.86, or 9.18. When most of the test samples are close to neutral pH, single-point calibration using the mid-range 6.86 buffer is best. Three-point calibration helps maintain accuracy across the full 0–14 pH range.
If you put the probe into a reference buffer solution, the meter finds the pH of the solution, applies the electrode correction factor, and confirms that calibration is complete without you having to enter the target buffer pH value by hand. With this auto-detection method, there is no need for the user to enter the right target value from memory or a reference card.
ATC System Across 0.1–60°C for Reliable Readings in Variable Temperature Conditions
The built-in automatic temperature compensation system constantly checks the sample temperature between 0.1°C and 60°C (32°F to 140°F) and corrects the raw electrode data in real time. This provides a temperature-adjusted pH reading during every measurement. Without temperature compensation, pH readings can vary as water temperature changes. ATC automatically adjusts for these temperature differences to improve measurement accuracy.
The ATC correction converts this temperature-dependent signal into a pH reading that stays the same no matter the temperature. This reading shows the sample's real chemistry at the standard reference temperature. If you are testing water in a variety of environments, like pond water in the summer, aquarium water in a climate-controlled fish room, or greenhouse hydroponic solution in a cold polytunnel in the winter, this is very important because the sample temperature will change a lot from one test to the next, but the pH reading must always be accurate and consistent.
pH Meter for Water Testing with VA Backlit Screen for Clear Readouts in Any Lighting
In all lighting conditions found during field testing, the VA (vertically aligned) display with built-in backlight provides a high-contrast, easy-to-read pH reading. Auto-on backlight ensures the screen stays visible in dimly lit areas like fish farms, basement aquarium rooms, shaded greenhouse aisles, and evening pool maintenance sessions where natural light is not enough to read an unlit screen without setting up a separate light source.
The VA display provides high contrast, making readings easier to see in both bright and low-light environments. This means that the numbers stay sharp and easy to tell apart from the background in all kinds of lighting. If the display is clear and high-contrast, it is easier to read the value when working in dim light, and the user can read measurements at arm's length instead of having to bring the meter up to their face for each reading.
Designed for Fish Farming, Aquariums, Hydroponics, Pools, and Food Beverage Testing
The VEVOR pH meter for water testing covers the full range of applications where routine, reliable pH monitoring is a regular operational requirement. In fish farming and aquaculture, keeping the water pH in the right range for each species is an ongoing job. When pH goes outside the range the farmed species can handle, it causes stress, lower feed conversion, and a higher risk of disease, all of which directly affect production yield and profitability. Regular pH monitoring helps maintain stable water conditions in aquaculture systems.
People who keep pH-sensitive tank animals, like African cichlids, discus, and planted biotopes, use the same monitoring method to keep the conditions stable so that the fish stay healthy and the plants grow. The pH meter for water testing is suitable for hydroponics, aquariums, pools, food processing, and aquaculture where routine pH monitoring is required. Pool and spa managers check the pH level before adding chemicals to ensure that they work as intended and that bathers are comfortable.
