This provides additional lifting height for vehicles with higher jacking points. 

It does not take long or any tools to switch between the normal and raised saddle configurations. This two-configuration method lets the same jack work with both a lowered sports car and a full-size SUV. This flexibility allows one jack to serve both low-clearance sports cars and taller SUVs.

The 2-1/2 ton low profile floor jack features an all-steel frame with a 2.5-ton (5,512 lbs) lifting capacity. The frame rails, lifting arms, pump housing, and saddle mount are all made of steel, which provides the welds with the strength and rigidity needed to maintain stable geometry under load throughout the lift range. Steel construction at the pivot points helps resist frame flex under load. 

The sealed hydraulic cylinder maintains a constant lift pressure during the working period. If the applied load approaches or exceeds the rated capacity, the overload safety valve opens and releases pressure before damage occurs inside. This automatic protection means the jack does not depend solely on the operator's awareness of the load to prevent overloading.

Two Grooved SUV Rubber Adapters for Secure High-Clearance Lifting 

It comes with two 50 × 36 mm rubber SUV adapters. Each one has a grooved contact profile that fits into the pinch weld and chassis jacking points on SUVs and crossovers. The groove alignment keeps the saddle centered on the lift point as the vehicle rises. This stops the pad from moving to the side, which can happen when a flat rubber pad sits on a curved or ribbed jacking surface without a way to hold it in place.

The thick rubber walls absorb any changes in the surface between the steel saddle and the vehicle's lift point. This keeps the chassis rails, sill edges, and painted surfaces safe from metal contact. If the jack stays in the workshop and is never moved, this weight difference means there is slightly less resistance each time the jack is lifted over a threshold, moved from the storage position to the vehicle, or lifted into a vehicle for use away from home.

The single-piston hydraulic system provides smooth lifting throughout the 85–350 mm range.
