Colin Brown Not true helical cutter but better than blades
Spiral-Style Single Speed Dual Roller
I am really impressed with this thicknesser planer. A very good price for the specification and on offer and loyalty points of 17€ bargain. It comes well packaged and only needs the adjustment handle to be fitted before use. So creating some lovely oak windowsills, light and switch plates etc.... impressed

About this item
Description
2000W Benchtop Thickness Planer
Designed for DIYers and small workshops. This woodworking planer features a dual-roller feed system, a powerful motor, 24 spiral alloy blades, 1/8-inch precise depth control, and millimeter-scale accuracy. It easily handles thick hardwoods. Built-in dust ports keep your space clean.
Q: How to minimize snipe (end tearing) at the ends of wooden boards?
A: The planer features dual rollers at infeed/outfeed ports for stable feeding. It ensures the worktable is level during use, or add sacrificial scrap boards before/after your project boards.
Q: Is it compatible with shop vacuums or dust bags? Is this included?
A: Yes, it includes a universal dust port compatible with 1.9-inch adapters and 3.9-inch hoses. But the vacuum and dust bag are not included and sold separately.
Q: Will it stall or trip the circuit breaker suddenly during use?
A: It features a powerful 2000W motor and runs on a standard 230V circuit. To ensure smooth operation, avoid using high-power electrical appliances on the same circuit breaker at the same time.
