I've used two other cheaper models that would flex while slicing and cause inconsistent slices to which we'd have to keep adjusting the dial and would get hot after slicing a couple pounds of beef. In looking for a replacement for the 3rd time I came across this machine. Sure it cost about the same price of the previous two I bought combined but the power is stronger and it turned out very well worth it. My husband asked why we didn't buy this earlier! The machine is advertised as commercial style, which I feel is pretty accurate but without the big bulkiness. It has a small humming sound while running but once you start slicing it's quiet, I don't need to close my windows while using it lol. The glide is smooth and the blade or panels don't flex so my cuts are consistent. I also love that it has a built in sharpener. I won't have to worry about replacement blades for a while. I have only used it to make thins slices of beef for my homemade crispy beef jerky and we are very well pleased in the thinness of slices it allows us to make. Cons: much effort and time into taking apart to clean and I need to use a block of some sort to slice my meats down to the last bit. The pusher does not push up close enough, for example if I was slicing a block of cheese I would have a block of about one inch thickness left over unless I put something at least twice it's width between the pusher and the block of cheese. So in my recent use of making thin slices of beef for jerky, I sliced a total of approximately 14lbs and had 1lb of scrap meat left over (too thick for beef jerky). Yes, I can chop it up for use in dinner one day so it won't go to waste, but that's beside the point.

The slicer machine was delivered very quick, although I had to use my agent in Germany for shipping because I live in Malta. It took 10 days altogether to arrive I am very happy the package was well made, unfortunately when they start using it was making a lot of noise our technician looked at it and found it was not well put together, the adjusting plate of the size was very loose in the bottom it was easy fixed and now working perfectly it looks very robust and great value for money. I recommend it but check it well before you started.

Got this slicer for our monastery...obviously we don't slice meat with it..but purchased it to slice cheese...I was a bit worried that it will not be strong enough...but guess what? It does its job just fine ! Kudos to VEVOR! GOD BLESS Y'ALL!

I have several devices from Vevor and they work great, but I was using a slicer from the German brand Graef. After a year, one of the gears (made of hardened plastic!) wore out, the response from their service was terrible, so I threw it away and decided it was time for Vevor :). Basically, it’s a simple device but fully metal, sturdy, easy to adjust, and also easy to disassemble. Cutting abilities of the slicer are excellent; it slices even the thinnest slices of ham and salami perfectly. I use it to slice everything from meat products to cheese and even homemade bread. I only regret not buying this slicer sooner. I highly recommend it (even to German customers :)).

Great purchase. Basic, easy to use and equally importantly, easy to clean. Delivered in time and has performed as expected. Perfect for a small business and a viable alternative to more expensive models.
