Using this in my garage to get decent airflow.
Easy to install, good cable lengths and brackets.
Impressive airflow for the size (leaf blower level at max speed).
Only negative to add is that it's unable to register degrees below freezing (0 celsius). Doesn't affect my usecase however.

Does the fan produce sparks/can you use it with solvents like acetone
Fans generally do not produce sparks under normal circumstances. This fan is not explosion-proof. Acetone is a flammable and explosive solvent. Its vapor and air can form an explosive mixture. It is very easy to burn and explode when exposed to open flames and high heat. Therefore, this ordinary diagonal flow duct fan cannot be used with solvents such as acetone, otherwise it may cause explosions and other safety accidents.

Can I power two fans with one speed controller?
I need them to run at the same time.
Each fan has a speed knob on its power cord that can only control one fan. If you want to run two fans at the same time, you can connect them to a plug board or a switch, and turn on the switch to run both fans at the same time.
