Great lathe for the price. Worked fine out of the box (after clean up). Got rid of my big lathe, Just needed a small lathe for the occasional small shaft of bushing. Bought the needed wedge type QCTP to go with it.

This lathe seems almost perfect out of the box. The carriage is tight, no play in anything, coated in a light oil, I just mopped up the excess and added way oil. Amazing value!
