Fitted to a 9” South Bend lathe. Once I machined a backplate to the correct size, it fitted really easy. A quick tap with a hammer to adjust the runout, and it has less than 1 thousands of an inch. Just be aware that the jaws need to go back in the same slots.

The quality of this lathe chuck is outstanding. I really cannot see how they can do it for the money! Over the last 4 months I have bought 5 of these to replace some old, tired ones in our workshop.

nice finish to the chuck but surprised at the run out in relation to the register, no big isue quick re grind of the jaws in relation to the body spot on now
