Customised it for resin casting, works great

so I need to start this review by stating I'm not using the pressure pot for what it was designed for , I have converted it for resin casting . It would have been 5 stars apart from some of the fittings , mainly the regulator and gauge .The pot is relatively cheap with most of them _50 to _100+ more so I have taken that into account , pot is a well made thick gauge metal with a silicon seal in the lid , the air inlet has a side diverter meaning its not going to blow the resin etc out of the mould when you charge it . everything fitted to it is fine until you get to the pressure gauge and associated fittings , the body is plastic and already out of shape from shipping , feels like its going to fall apart just from handling however the biggest issue is its rated in MPA not PSI or BAR , which is easy to convert with google but an added complication and it goes way over what the vessel is rated for which could lead to some very nasty accidents if you don't get it right .The pressure vessel is easy to convert with a couple of extra fittings and PTFE plumbers tape but I would strongly recommend replacing the regulator with a decent PSI rated one before use .I did put 40 psi into the unit 24 hours ago and it has held the pressure . The inside is a decent size for most of the turning and casting work I would ever need to put in it .in summary - buy a decent gauge and its a very handy tool

The gauge leaks, therefore cannot hold pressure until replaced.As long as you do a small amount of research or know what you're doing this can very very easily be turned into a pressure pot for resin casting. I use it as 50-55 psi and just had to plug one side and buy a new gauge ($8) not a big deal but just a heads up. That being said, I also used thread seal just to be sure there is no leaks. Teaming it with a small compressor, I had a functioning pressure pot w/compressor for ~$220 which is great in my opinion.In short, worth the small amount of work it took to convert it. And it is holding pressure and functioning great.

aun no lo he probado, pero la pistola de pulverizar si la conozco ya que tengo una igual y para tema de pintado industrial me va perfecta y es todo terreno . tira base agua o disolvente se limpia bien y deja buen acabado asi que creo que con el bote de presion es una buena compra

take the tube off, change the valve setup on top. make it a pressure chamber for clear casting resin. perfect for what i needed, one extra thing you would need to do is cut out a flat piece to the inside diameter for the bottom since it has a small dip. another thing you can do to make a perfect bottom is get the white resin that sets up fast, pour it in the bottom about 1 inch thick. let it set up and leave it there. if pot is level you will have the perfect bottom. it holds pressure with no drop off in a 24 hour period.

This is a solid painting pressure pot. Build quality is excellent. But if you are using it for resin casting, don't go with this one. The fittings are extremely secure and it takes a lot of work to get the necessary pieces off. Testament to its build quality.

I'm using it for a pressure pot for resin casting, as soon as I find a pressure relief valve that works, I'm sure this will work fine.
