I purchased this kit because I had something similar a few years ago.If you have time on your hands then this kit can help you to show off.Levelling this on a door takes way too much time. Yes, you can do some marks on it for fast use in the future but they should have thought of that when you play with "mm".The stoppers on the rails on both sides are from plastic and because of the weight while you drilling for the lock plate move easily and you will get over the lines.It can be improved but for now, it will rest In a corner to rust. I can do the same job and much faster with a router.

This is a extremely handy lock jig can mortise the lock with a drill as opposed to a router, takes a little bit of getting used to but it works well once you get the hang of it I done 4 oak doors yesterday mortise and face plate in roughly 25 mins just be careful with the debt setting as it can slide making tou go deeper than needed I use a bit of tape to stop it from sliding, for the price you can't go wrong overall happy with it

Makes fitting locks much quicker. You still need a chisel to square off the corners, but this is a minor detail.

What a jig! For the price I paid I felt like I stole it £38.99! My gosh if you’re a chippy get one. Now. I videoed it and sent it to all my work buddies! Amazing and can’t believe how much value for money you are getting. I only ever leave a review if it’s warranted and guys you will not be disappointed! I bought it to do 10 oak doors and I’d still be there now without this jig! AMAZING!

absolutely fantastic tool AA also has a great value, easy to use and fully kitted, if you are a locksmith or a joiner you must have this tool in your setup

Works great it will save a lot of time over using a chisel and hammer just don't try router out too much in the one go and a fast rpm drill works better

I bought this to help me as I replaced 7 internal doors in my home. Doesn’t come with instructions but YouTube was able to give some pointers on similar products. I found it to be a good tool as I fitted the latch bolts and door handles. Saved a lot of time.

So simple and easy to set up all stored in its own case all parts slotted together so simply. The only thing is a plastic accessory with a nut in one end and rubber/ foam on the other, what_ it for lol look at what gail Hughes circled in other review
