Heater worked as advertised. It is a 2kw heater. But the picture of the internal part of the heater is not correct. Had I known I would have not purchased. This uses some proprietary parts not like other 2kw/5kw heaters. The main board is different and the fan is different. Also the plugs for the sensors and glow plug is different. This means you can't upgrade the head unit without alot of work and parts. On the good side the shipping was fast and on point. MP
Habe die Heizung heute in Betrieb genommen. Lieferung ging sehr schnell: Freitag bestellt, darauffolgenden Mittwoch geliefert!!! Top! Funktioniert einwandfrei. Sehr gute Heizleistung, Bedienung sehr einfach. Installation easy! F_ diesen Preis eine sehr gute Leistung. Deshalb sollte man nicht zu hohe Qualit?tsanspr_he stellen. Ist ganz klar ein Budget Produkt! Aber sie macht einen sehr guten Job, hoffentlich sehr lange!
Arrivato nei tempi indicati, c'era tutto nella confezione, come descritto dal venditore. Il riscaldatore, per non da 5 kw ma da 2, per devo dire che funziona bene e riscalda bene, forse un po' pi rumoroso, soprattutto lo scarico, nonostante il silenziatore ( comprato a parte). Spero duri nel tempo
Heats my car when camping and garage when not camping. Uses barley no diesel but eats through batteries quickly. Bring extra battery if using more then couple days.
I bought this heater for our homebuilt truck camper after having a similar name brand unit in a sailboat. The camper is a small pop up with canvas sides similar to a Four Wheel Camper. The heater blows 150* at the low setting. We camped in temperatures just below freezing and we turned the heater off because it worked so well. The install was pretty straightforward. The tank is sturdy steel and should last a long time. The heater started up and worked just like it should. The whole system survived a week of being driven and bounced around on rough gravel roads and trails. The unit itself if tiny and easy to find space to mount. I'm still curious as to how long it will last, but overall I'm more than happy with it!
Actual heater seems to be good quality and value. Instructions are worthless nonsense. I recommend watching YouTube to educate yourself on the install and issues. Basically, this is a great heater, but be prepared to upgrade some of the fittings which leak and cause pump issues/ inline air pockets and failures to run. Pump must be mounted vertically or at 45 degrees to allow diesel to lubricate metal parts. At 10% the cost of the Espar, I would say that it is an excellent value if you just upgrade a few hose parts and educate yourself as to installation requirements.
Simple unit, works well, every instill will have its challenges. If you choose to get this from these guys, DON'T EXPECT ANY HELP OR RESPONSES AT ALL. Like most companies "customer service" seems too be thrown to the way side, these guys included.
