Very happy overall. Heater works as it should. Some of the hardware needed to be upgraded, instructions could have been much better. For the price and functionality, I'd recommend it.

Super fast delivery. I ordered this and it was delivered in just 4 days. It was complete and undamaged. Easy to install and started easily. It came with a instruction manual that was easy to understand. I installed this on a home made teardrop trailer I was worried in would be to hot but the thermostat goes down to about 55 degrees Fahrenheit. After using this heater several times over the last couple of weeks I can say I could not be more pleased. I installed this on a little uninsulated teardrop camper and it_ so warm I open the windows and the maxair fan to cool it down. The coldest nights have been in the high 20s F. And it_ 80 degrees inside. It_ a low draw on the battery too.

I bought this heater to install in my 5th wheel RV, as an auxiliary heating system to supplement the propane furnace. This heater functions properly, and seems to produce the required amount of heat. If you have researched this type of heater, you already may know that these heaters produce some combustion noise, but this heater dies not appear to produce any more noise than more expensive units. I suspect all of these aftermarket heaters are basically the same. So far, my heater does not smoke on start up or shutdown, and did not produce any combustion soot after running at a reduced load. I am happy with the heater performance and supplied accessories and installation hardware. The heater gets four stars because no instructions are included in the package. If you watch some of the online videos about parking heaters, you can easily determine how to install one if these units, but figuring out the controller functions can be difficult. I finally found a like controller for sale on another site with controller function instructions.

Instruction booklet wasn_ much help. Watched you tube videos but my husband had experience with espar heaters so was able to install it into my tack compartment of my horse trailer. Had to use some of our own screws to configure it to where we were putting it but came with enough in the package. Also came with everything you would need. Hoping it will last for what I will use it for a few times in the summer when it_ cool in the mountains.

This heater was awesome! It came with all of the parts it said it would and we bench tested it before installing, has great output. We bought for our jet boat for hunting trips in the fall and cold nights in the summer and it will give off more than enough heat of what we will need/want. Highly recommend! ??

Lange Zeit habe ich meine Hobby Werkstatt mit einem 1500 Watt Heizl_ter beheizt, Was sich j?hrlich in meiner Stromabrechnung wieder spiegelte, da 1500 Watt f_ 56 cm3 Rauminhalt sehr lange brauchten um die Hobby Werkstatt auf angenehme 15 - 18 C aufzuheizen, bzw. die Temperatur zu halten.Bei 10 Stunden Laufzeit (ich bin Rentner) waren am Tag 4,35 Euro Stromkosten f?llig, einfach zu viel des guten!Also sann ich auf Abhilfe und kaufte eine VEVOR 5 - 8 KW Diesel Standheizung mit einem 12 Volt 30 Ampere Netzger?t.Die Hobby Werkstatt ist nun in 60 Minuten bei voller Leistung von + 5 C auf +12 C aufgeheizt bei moderaten 0,3 Liter Heiz?lverbrauch in dieser Zeit.Die Kosten belaufen sich bis zum runter regeln auf 14,7 Cent, f_ die weiteren 9 Stunden und einem Verbrauch von 0,2 Liter pro Stunde fallen nochmals 88,2 Cent an.Also heize ich den Tag f_ 1,03 Euro, dass ist 1/4 dessen was ich sonst verbraten habe.Die Standheizung l?sst sich sehr gut regulieren ,ist angenehm leise und bei der Bedienbarkeit gegen_er der Anleitung kann ich nur sagen, learning by doing.Ich f_ meinen Teil habe den Kauf keineswegs bereut und w_de mir die Standheizung jederzeit wieder kaufen.Von meiner Seite eine klare Kaufempfehlung!Noch ein Wort zum Netzger?t:Die Standheizung ben?tigt in der Startphase einen Strom von rund 10 Ampere, ein Netzger?t mit einer maximalen Belastbarkeit von 12 - 15 Ampere kommt w?hrend der Startphase an seine Leistungsgrenze.Ein Netzger?t mit mindestens 20 Ampere maximaler Belastbarkeit ist also anzuraten!Dann ist bei den Anschl_sen am Netzger?t des 230 Volt Anschlusses ein Anschluss mit (P) gekennzeichnet, an dem die Spannungsf_rende Leitung angeschlossen werden soll.Das hei?t aber auch, dass an der Steckdose an dem das Netzger?t angeschlossen werden sollt mit einem Phasenpr_er die Spannungsf_rende Leitung ausfindig gemacht werden muss um eine Verpolung auszuschlie?en.Macht man das nicht, ist das Netzger?t beizeiten hin_er, was sich dann in negativen Rezensionen niederschl?gt.Da wo auf einem Ger?t der Phasenanschluss vorgegeben ist, sollte dieser unbedingt auch dort angeschlossen werden.Das hei?t auch, dass ich am Stecker und der Steckdose eine Markierung anbringen sollte.Hier noch ein paar Eckdaten zum Stromverbrauch bei einem 30 Ampere Netzteil:In der Startphase werden rund 85 - 90 Watt verbraucht die lediglich keine Minute dauert.In der niedrigsten Heizstufe von 5 KW werden im Dauerheizbetrieb 22 Watt verbraucht.

It gives off good heat for a large roof top tent with annex. It uses diesel at a reasonable amount. We like that the control mechanism is simple, no thermostatic controller. The ducting hoses are flimsy but works on a pinch. The burn exhaust is a bit inconvenient to to take on and off for storage. I wish it had quick connect for the ducting and had option for intake ducting.
