Not for residential pipes, use only for very large pipes
Solid case. Good camera. Whatever you do, do not, and I repeat, do Not attempt to snake this into any of your homes 1 1/2" water pipes. The minute it gets past the 1st 90 degree bend, you will Not get it back out. No matter what. The back of the camera mechanism will get hung up on the pipe lip and no matter the amount of twists and turns and pulling, it will not dislodge. You will have a very expensive and time consuming repair. Plus be careful of the steel filament within the spring. It is often frayed and will stick you if you grab the spring. The spring and camera head is too big and stiff for the 1 1/2" pipe bends. This should work wonderfully for large pipes. The customer service team is amazing.

Not recommended.
30M 512Hz Locator-Cable Length Markings 228.6mm Screen
The cable is so thin that it kinked the fourth time we used it, and it was impossible to fish it down 3 and 4 inch pipes for any significant length unless we zip tied it to our sewer machine cable and hand fed it into the line. The picture quality was good. The batter life is excellent. It was easy to set up and use. For the money there are better options on the market. Definitely spring for at leastva 7mm cable on a reel.

The fiberglass line got bent pretty easily, and the camera went out
Bought a new one, different version. Switched the cameras between them so I could keep the 512hz pipe finder part of the camera.

The camera sewer cable needs a swivel where it plugs into the receiver.
50M 512Hz Locator-Cable Length Marking 228.6mm Screen
The camera was very large, very good quality and the self leveling feature was nice. However, The reel for the camera cable didn't have a swivel, so as you're feeding the camera into a sewer line you would have to unhook the cable from the sewer cable to the receiver or it would get twisted up with the rotational unwinding of the camera cable spool. Also the locator was very touchy. If you left the batteries in it, no matter what direction you put it back in the case, the locator would turn itself back on. Not a huge deal but it was not as user friendly as I would have liked it to be.

Bonne caméra mais connexion fragile
30M Cable Length Markings 177.8mm Screen

Camera works but locator needs improvement
The method required by the locator doesn't provide precision and is time-consuming. There should be an improvement in the locator for use when the camera is underground in a pipe.

The man
Its a neat thing to have but it doesnt work that great. If there is any blockage or mud in pipe the camera is useless. The video isnt as high resolution asbthey advertise either

Beau coffret fermant à cles….mais SANS CLÉS. Pratique , non ? D’autres parts, peu d’explications. Il faut tâtonner pour trouver la solution. Vraiment un manque de respect pour les francophones car tout est chinois ou anglais. Dommage

Master Plumber
Im going to start on the high note; I have already made revenue sufficient to pay for the unit. The camera has great picture quality and the screen projects a very clear picture. When compared with the higher end cameras on the market, this one comes in at less than 10% of the cost. No brainer. Here’s the trade off; it isn’t very easy to use. The reel is undersized and puts too much stress on the tiny push rod. Which comes out of the reel still somewhat coiled (like an old phone cord or an extra old garden hose. It has a kinda retainer designed into the reel but it ends up putting additional strain on an already stressed pushrod. This pushrod snapped at about the 4’ mark about 30’ inside a 4” pvc sewer examination. This was about the 4th time I used it. Next, the locator; this unit is very old school. It only communicates with signal strength conveyed through sound and signal bars like on a cell phone. It doesn’t give you any telemetry information. Ultimately, it is not very comprehensive, requiring a significant amount of trial and error. Overall ease of use is very tough and you have to spend a great deal of time managing the equipment to get what you need to provide a solution. Finally, present that information to your client is going to be very tough when compared with the Bluetooth and app technology on the more expensive models. You definitely don’t want the client standing there with you when you loose control of the pushrod when it springs from its reel like a “snake in a can”. It makes the most seasoned professional look clumsy. To sum it up, it’s an excellent way of seeing an issue for about the cost of rental or hiring a contractor. But don’t expect a long service life.
