The cast metal is good, it comes with hardened guides but it needs a lot of work to become usable.
Lot's of community videos on how to fix upgrade and modify it is a plus.
At minimum one needs to disassemble the full machine remove the protective oil and lubricate correctly, but what you most likely will end up doing is deburring metal from parts and modifying the lathe in order to properly work.
Good for tinkerers that are willing to learn how to fix the lathe into a good working order, not good if you want to just use a lathe to produce parts.
