The cutting tools recommended (3/8 in) are not the proper size cutting tool (1/2 in) are needed.

It's a mini lathe! Seems to work fine. Didn't come with any tooling. Drive motor needed to be properly positioned prior to starting. It was very crooked. Other than that a Chinese mini lathe is better than no lathe!

Mophorn did contact me and we did come to an agreement with the problem,As I told them I was very angry when the unit failed after 2 days.The design as it is will lead to more problems if not fixed. I know Mophorn is not the maker and there is not much they can do about it.Thank youDonna

Had to tie down the motor, adjust the Gibbs, and mill a slot for the cross sled to fully seat, but for the money. I'd definitely recomend it if you are up for a little tinkering, and plan on cutting plastics and soft metals. (it was able to cut steel, but it was shallow cuts and would take a long time if you had to cut a lot of mater)

D_ais correct vu l'objet.Tr_ satisfait de mon achat, le tour une bonne finition et semble robuste.Quelques r_lages d'ajustement pour diminuer les jeux des chariots et premi_e pi_e usin_.Aucun souci, ce tour est parfait.A noter que le conditionnement pour le transport _ait bien adapt, caisse en bois sur palette.La notice est en anglais mais il est facile de ce procurer une notice _uivalente en fran?ais en tapant "ED400FD-FR-min.pdf" dans votre moteur de recherche.Apr_ quelques heures d'utilisation intensives je constate qu'il n'est pas possible de r_liser des c?nes avec ce tour car le chariot transversal n'est pas orientable. A savoir.Bon alors en fait si, le chariot est orientable mais la m_hode n'est indiqu_ sur aucune notice, j'ai compris en regardant les pages des vues _lat_s des pi_es du tour.Il faut reculer au maximum le chariot transversal jusqu_ faire appara?tre deux trous (voir photo). Ensuite avec une cl BTR on d_isse et hop le chariot pivote.
