This boring head works well. It is not a precision ground tool. There's definitely quite a bit of play, but tightening the set screws rigidly holds the tool so the play doesn't matter. Far better value than the 2" boring heads that do not accept standard 3/4" shank boring bars.It has some adjustment in both positive and negative directions, which is nice. The boring bars it comes with seem to be decent enough quality. They are however brazed carbide boring bars and NOT indexable, which is contradictory to the description. The set screws will bite into the shank and damage them if over-tightened, which can cause problems removing the bars from the boring head. You need three different allen keys (supplied) to use this tool. This is annoying. A single sized allen key would have been better.Overall decent enough. It isn't a high end precision ground tool, but it will get the job done.
