I purchased a different one and had to return due to issues. I will have to say this one is built a lot better and the quality is great.

I installed this system on my 93 ranger bass boat it was easier than i thought took my time installation went very well happy w the out come took me awhile to get system bleed out did it by myself

I had enough with cable steer. I have a 17ft xpress h17 with 115 Yamaha 4 stroke. During launch, I would have hold left hard. If at anytime I let go of wheel, it would violently turn right. I was debating between this unit and the baystar($200 more) and chose this. I installed this myself. During idle I got the boat heading straight. Let go of the wheel and nailed it. Its like riding a rail. Doesnt move unless you turn it. I was doing 42mph in a S curve steering with one finger. Night and day difference.The hardest part of the install was removing the cable system. Tie a rope to your cable so you can pull your hoses through. Watch a few videos on YouTube and youre set. Don't be afraid of this product. I'd buy it again.

Good product but unclear as to what it would fit. Was able to purchase a $25 adapter and make it work fine on my Honda 130.

It really helps to have two people for installation. We installed on a 20 foot Avalon pontoon and works excellent.

This was easy to install and it seems to be working well. I noticed the glands don't seem to be replaceable like the Sea Star cylinder glands are, which might prove to be an issue in the future because the glands break down over time and need replacing at some point. But, I bought this because it was about half the cost of the Sea Star system and it is of high enough quality for me to say that I am satisfied. The instructions aren't very clear and the illustrations aren't accurate but like others have said, if you're installing this yourself you likely have the ability to figure it out on your own like I did.

No fluid but goes in pretty fast. Carefully read the instructions.
