No fluid but goes in pretty fast. Carefully read the instructions.

I installed this system on my 93 ranger bass boat it was easier than i thought took my time installation went very well happy w the out come took me awhile to get system bleed out did it by myself

Machined very well easy to install except getting old cable out. Now i can do the one finger didle.Would highly recommend

needed more clearance because of a jack plate, flipped it upside down, reversed the lines and got more clearance than I had with the old cable steering ,not as quick as the old rack & pinion but way easier to steer feels like power steering.

I had enough with cable steer. I have a 17ft xpress h17 with 115 Yamaha 4 stroke. During launch, I would have hold left hard. If at anytime I let go of wheel, it would violently turn right. I was debating between this unit and the baystar($200 more) and chose this. I installed this myself. During idle I got the boat heading straight. Let go of the wheel and nailed it. Its like riding a rail. Doesnt move unless you turn it. I was doing 42mph in a S curve steering with one finger. Night and day difference.The hardest part of the install was removing the cable system. Tie a rope to your cable so you can pull your hoses through. Watch a few videos on YouTube and youre set. Don't be afraid of this product. I'd buy it again.

I purchased a different one and had to return due to issues. I will have to say this one is built a lot better and the quality is great.
