Safe climbing the steps
Arch Type Step 2 or 3
Well worth the money and made well. Only thing though was that I had to put a wood block on one of the legs as steps were deep. Also the bolts will have to large as it is a bit wobbly

Nice quality but only fit standard height risers.
Arch Type Step 2 or 3
We bought 1 handrail for 2 steps and 2 handrails for 1 step each. We have a brick front porch and pathway. The 2-step rail fit nicely onto standard 7 inch step heights. The single step handrails each needed to go onto 9 inch height steps and could not be adjusted to fit. So, I had to pour a concrete riser on the base of for each of the single step to reduce the effective height to 7 inches. This was Ok because it gave a really firm foundation, but was some added hassle.

Supportive Rail
Arch Type Step 4 or 5
Hand rail is attractive and relatively easy to install. It is a supportive feature rather than a solid hand rail. It provides reassurance which is what we wanted on the outside stairs.

Appealing appearance
Arch Type Step 1 or 2
This rail was flexible enough during installation to fit and work for the step height differences. I ended up adding anchor bolts - the ones that came in the package left it wobbly, 7/16 drilled hole was too small and 1/2" too large. These must be a metric size.

Ok
Arch Type Step 1 or 2
For the price not bad. Anchors are metric, so if you don't have a metric drill bit throw huthem away and get standard ones

Better directions
Arch Type Step 2 or 3
It would be helpful to mention the drill bit size to accommodate the anchors. Also I thought I followed the picture directions, but alas had to undo everything and do it over.

Pretty solid railing, But....
Arch Type Step 4 or 5
One catch, if you did your research and read reviews and comment you would've learned that the hardware kit that it ships with is probably metric and if you are in the US you wont be able to drill a suitable hole for them. In fact, at least in my case, the concrete anchors they shipped with the rail didn't even fit and were slightly bigger. So just buy a new set of anchors that will work with your drill. One day the US will ditch this stupid, none functional imperial system and use metric where all things make sense!Overall, pretty happy with these rails, they look good, they are solid, handling pretty well in the rain no rust so far after being installed for a month with heavy rain and humidity.

Well made sturdy hand rail.
Arch Type Step 2 or 3
The reason I gave a 4 star: The finish on the top bar was very rough on one side. Had to take a file and remove metal shavings that were painted. It turned out smooth, but now there is a metal edge and I will need to repaint that portion. I had guys installing it and they didn't notice the finish until I took a hold of it and yes, it would cut the hand that held it and slid down it as you should be able to do. I love the look and know it will service my need and anyone that uses it for years to come. I will order another one for my front steps, I do hope the finish on it is better.
