I mounted this on a Logan 9x17 lathe. It works great runout is close to .0005 when installed. It would be a full five star review but there is some play in the jaws that make it a little more difficult to center up your work piece. It doesn_ effect the turning operation at all though. It might be a bit heavy for a smalller lathe so be warned.

F_ knappe 100 Einen 200mm 4 Backen Spannkopf echt der Hammer. Der Rundlauf passt und ist absolut in der Toleranz. H?tte keinen besseren finden k?nnen. Kauft keine alten Backenfutter _er private Anbieter!!! Fiel zu teuer und das Getriebe ist immer abgen_zt!!

I bought this chuck for my mini lathe. Quality is very good and I believe a very good buy for the money.

This is a Great chuck for the 7x mini lathe. Need to have an adapter plate to use it.This chuck is well built and quality seen good.It is an independent chuck and not a self centering chuck and requires a little chucking skill.Over all it a A+.

Das 4 Backenfutter macht einen stabilen Eindruck. Leider konnte ich noch keine Montageplatte mit passenden Ma?en finden. Werde das Futter provisorisch montieren um die fehlenden Teile selbt anzufertigen. Kugellager mit 80 mm Au?endurchmesser und maximal m?glichen Innendurchmesser habe ich bisher auch noch nicht gefunden. Also wird noch etwas Zeit vergehen, bis alles sicher, stabil und ordnungsgem?? funktionieren wird.

You buy THIS if you want to be able to adjust each jaw independently, such as when you need to eliminate runout with an indicator, or you have eccentric work. For general-purpose lathe work, you use a self-centering chuck, as you described. This chuck does precisely what it says it does.

Works well and is a decent price.

I believe it will work for the purpose for which I purchased it.I will hold it in my 10 inch scroll chuck for holding small diameter parts that the large one won't close upon. Quicker than installing the collet chuck.
