Seams to be a very good built chuck. Held the stock well. Ran very true no wobble. I would steer someone to buy this if they were looking for one

Works great on my early 1900 lathe

Great product, quality. Awesome price. Bought it back in May and I_e been using it since. No issues thus far.

Well built 4 jaw chuck, no complaints.

Surprisingly good quality chuck. Solid and well made. I machined a cast iron backplate for it and installed it on my 9 x 20 lathe. (I think it is the perfect size for this lathe; imho a six inch chuck would be too big.) The jaws seemed a bit sticky at first but this was solved by a thorough cleaning. The only negative was the number of sharp edges on the jaws and chuck face, but again this was easily fixed. I chucked up a back gear housing and adjusted center to within 0.0005, (the limit of my DTI), so it works well for me. I would buy it again.

4 jaw chucks with independent jaws. Works the way its intended to. Don't listen to Klean obviously that person is a moron

I have not used it yet, as I have to make backing plate to mount it on my lathe. I'm waiting for a 1" X 10 TPI tap which is due in mid August so I can tap the mounting plate for installation. This lathe chuck is from Asia and the quality is excellent. Each jaw is finely machined and the fit and function is very good. I'm looking forward to using this for some of my projects.The Overall Rating, I gave only 4 stars because I haven't really used it yet, but I'm confident that it will be fine.

Very nice 5" chuck

Ordered for my grandpa, came as pictured & worked for the machine he was building. Did arrive a few days late.
