At this price, you can't beat it. The digital voltage display is nice, and accuracy is ok for an A/C RMS value (~ +/- 10%), but you may need to connect a more accurate voltmeter. (But since the A/C is normally converted to D/C, the regulator does not care about the 10%.)

Very good product, the specs are exactly as described, good quality heavy copper transformer. The voltmeter is a cool addition also

I got this variac as I_ an electronic hobbyist who enjoys restoring old valved equipment , I found this variac very useful and the digital readout helps a great deal... I checked it with a multimeter and it_ accurate.

Ce produit est arriv en ayant subi un choc lat_al gauche,apr_ d_ontage , recentrage de l'axe du rotacteur ,recentrage du noyaumagn_ique bobin ,comme l'aspect g__al me semble solide et bien con?uje lui met quatre _oiles, vu son prix imbattable.

Not had it long seems well built,works just fine the accuracy of the meter on the lower voltages Is way off at 30 volts the read out is 45v and so on when your up in the 150v range it's about 5v out 200 and over 2 or 3 volts only used a really accurate meter to check it on

This turned up damaged 1st time and 2nd time but to be fair this was down to the shippers as the suppliers have been very good and have giving me a full refund
