Took a minute to figure out but works pretty well and makes great little badges. My 10 year old daughter is loving it and building a great little business using this product. Better than a lemonade stand!

Gets the job done ! people loved their pins.

It works great but be warned the plastic base that is included has sharp edges. It slid along by finger as I picked it up and it skinned me enough to draw blood. A light sanding of the edge is important to prevent this from happening.

Very good transaction. Item a badge maker does just what it states, so many blanks that I dont need to buy more from sometime. About 1000 blank. Well packed delivery as expected on time with very good tracking and information sent all through the shipping. A1 service.

If you assemble it correctly and take a moment to read the insteuctions and UNDERSTAND THEM before starting, you will really get a better go at this. The machine works well and is a great value since it comes with pieces to make 1000 buttons. Now, I have had an 11% fail rate, and I do take the time to run the steps through smoothly, it seems to be a failure between the sealing of the plastic to the metal piece in the first step. I've made about 230 and I've had about 27 flop straight from the machine or eventually come apart becore getting in the designated baggie. It's still a really cool machine to learn with and if its for hobby purposes and to do smaller batches at once it is a great deal.

Took a bit of practice at first. What I discovered is that if I cut circles from paper that is too thin (like tissue) or not wide enough to fill the circle that there isn't enough thickness for everything to grip, so the pin falls out of the machine when doing the last step. But as long as you cut a large enough circle out of thick enough paper (or use multiple layers) it is foolproof. I love this and I will be making a lot of pins for various projects!Edited to add: The circle cutter is useless -- so cheap it doesn't even hold together. I didn't get it to cut a usable circle once. So you'll need another way to cut your circles.

The item itself was frustrating as it didn't produce a properly crimped button. (1 in 5 turned out properly-if that). This lead to a lot of wasted material, time, and especially disappointment when it was a handmade drawing that didn't get properly turned into a button. Often the top coating would fall off completely or sections around would be sticking out.While the press is extremely heavy and feels like it should work, something was definitely wrong with my original button press that I ordered. It seemed out of alignment regardless of how many times it was taken apart and put back together.The product itself I wound rate lower unfortunately, but their customer service I would give 5 stars. They were prompt and very helpful at trying to solve what the issue was and ended up resending the product. I have not used the new one enough to see if the same issues arise as before, but I'm hoping it was just an issue with the original. As I use the new one more I'll be happy to update if it works consistently.It comes with 500 pieces to make buttons, a suggestion would be to have metal backs as well as they are currently backed with plastic and do feel flimsy.I appreciate the customer service of this company, but am weary of the detail being put Into the assembly of the press.

I purchased this item to make buttons to promote a fall series in my Church. I had never used one before, but I was quickly on the way to completing my project.

This kit is awesome! I was making buttons with my kid in less than ten minutes! The instructions were pretty clear, and several reviewers have good tips. I had good results with card stock and double-stacked printer paper. It_ really simple and comes with so many pieces to make buttons! For the price, you can_ go wrong!
