1: use 20lb paper2: the first punch the pins don_ go through the holes. The 2 punch for the back the little pins do go through the holes3: get a photo punch made for a 1 badge. It_ a little larger than 1. The craft store Fiskars punch I bought at first was exactly 1 and the button would fall apart. All and all I like the machine. It produces nice tight buttons.

Our Grand Daughter placed her order with Santa early this year and was thrilled to receive this well made machine. My only complaint is that no instructions came with it. She quickly fired up her smart phone, found the instructions and was producing buttons in no time.

The press is impressive. Very sturdy and super easy to use. The pin piece quality is lacking however, the backs sit a bit away from the front so you can see the white edge. This was fine for us as it was nice to have some pieces to practice with. I suggest researching better pin assembly pieces as we will do but overall great buy!

Followed tutorial/instructions/reviews on here and it works amazingly. I can_ wait to make some art I_ proud of then make a button of it hehe ^^ Once I do I might come back and upload some pictures ! But overall definitely worth the money and it_ so fun to use.

I was EXTREMELY skeptical about this purchase. It just seemed too good to be true for the price. It is soooo easy to set up and use ! It_ also very sturdy.

Make sure if you buy this, that when you assemble the two tumblers , the tumbler that you put the clear film and metal disc in, should be installed on the left, (if you pull the handle down towards you). If you reverse the tumblers, they will not compress fully and engage the springs beneath them.Works good

I received my button maker quickly. Parts were easy to assemble. Was up and running in no time. Will be ordering more sizes soon!! Thank you!!!

Setting this up was a breeze and after figuring out a system and rhythm, making the buttons comes easy. Yes the base does rock when making it but that's only if you're cranking the handle down hard and fast (don't do that). Make sure you're good about separating the plastic films because they do get stuck and if you try and put more than one in the machine then it will mess up the button. I bought these to use in my art class and my kids LOVE it!

I LOVE this machine. It has made starting my screen printing business so much easier. It_ heavy, but it isn_ too big. However, the assembly is a little difficult. Thankfully it came with a DVD that helped.
