Just started laying down the sheeting for ground vapor barrier in crawl space. Cuts great with scissors open halfway with a simple sliding motion. For gravel top surface under this gauge of plastic, I definitely recommend a geotechnical mat as even the tough mat underneath allows some sharp rock points to deform but not puncture this barrier. The packaging was confusing as it didn't list the gauge clearly as 10 mil (.010") and I had to verify with calipers. It is for sure .010" thick.
