Fairly easy to build. Once assembled, one issue was that the swing door was bowed outward. So when you rolled the unit, the door hit the frame, preventing it from rolling. I bent the door in by hand and now rolls great.

Ça fonctionne tres bien, il est déjà monté il reste à installer la poignée qui a été très facile. Un peu de problème à refermer la porte je dois me reprendre à plusieurs reprises et l’ajuster pour que ça puisse fermer. Peut contenir facilement un 50 litre de terre. J’ai vraiment sauver du temps de travail avec cet outil. Très robuste, en général je suis très satisfaite. Je recommande ce produit. Le prix est abordable

Funktioniert super. Gut verarbeitet. Leicht zu verwenden und stabil. Macht, was es soll und ist eine super Arbeitserleichterung.

The screen clogs unless everything is very dry

ik kreeg een rechthoekig plat pakket thuisgestuurd dus ik twijfelde of het wel klopte. Bij uitpakken bleek dat ik de strooier zelf nog in elkaar moest zetten. Schroeven werken maar zijn van matige kwaliteit. Na in elkaar zetten bleken er flinke kieren tussen de vier elementen te zitten. Ik heb de strooier gebruikt met tuinaarde en had geen last van de kieren. De aarde wordt mooi verdeeld en het apparaat doet goed zijn werk. Ik had er daardoor deze keer heel veel minder werk aan om de tuinaarde (gelijkmatig) te verdelen over mijn grasveld en het was vooral een ontlasting voor mijn rug. Ik zou het opnieuw kopen. Voordeel van zelf in elkaar zetten is dat ik het na gebruik weer uit elkaar gehaald heb om compact op te kunnen slaan.

Fairly simple to put together, but a bit awkward doing so with one person. Took me about 20 minutes or so. Filled it with soil the first time around and it produced an even spread. Any mulch pieces from the lawn soil remained inside the roller, so I manually tossed those pieces out after the roller was empty. I actually like the fact that junk pieces don’t make it through the screen on the roller—just the product. Second time around I loaded it with peat moss. Beautiful, thin layer of peat was laid out by the roller. The roller doesn’t hold a lot of material, so depending on the area you’re covering, you may be refilling often. This was much easier than dumping product and trying to rake it evenly throughout the area. I would recommend this roller. 4 stars and not 5, because nothing in this world is perfect.

I bought this compost roller for a lawn renovation to roll out mushroom compost. Peat moss is expensive and depleting our bogs so stop using that. This is typical Chinese quality, it’ll work for a few uses and then begin to fall apart. The latches are in the side but I hit a rock and bent one. They’re easy to bend back but that just shows the poor quality material and brittleness. The hatch is nice but it’s not a latched on hatch, there’s metal prongs that slip into cut outs to keep it secured in the non latch side. So everytime you need to fill it you basically have to take it off. That takes like 30 seconds but it’s just annoying when you’re rolling 6000 sqft. It worked decent for mushrooms soil. The issue I found was that some of the chunks of soil were too big to fit through the slits but that s just how compost is. Overall this was better than hand spreading. It laid a nice even surface. I would recommend it to a diy’er
