Worked great to cover our toy hauler cord. We camp in the pits at our local race track and a lot of motorcycles drive over our cord, this protects it perfectly
These get the job done, but boy did they stink when removed from the box. Horrible smell and not something you will want to keep inside. Other than that, they are fine for the price.
Smell is rather strong as was mentioned by a couple of other reviews but I use mine outside of my garage door. They are just a tiny bit too small for a standard size hose but still adds sufficient cushioning when the car drives over the hose to protect it from being damaged.
4 pieces = one lane width. 2 sets = 2 lanes or one in each direction. You need 2 sets.
It takes a set of 4 of these to cross a single side of a street it will take 2 sets for 2 lanes. If you space out one set to cover 2 sides the cars avoid the cord rams & drive over the cords. So you really do need 2 sets.
Yes, it has a strong rubber smell as it is made of rubber. We are using it as a ramp to get over the lip of our garage as it's 2 inches above the driveway and it works well, and we didn't need to fasten them in.We're pretty happy with how durable these are and how well they've worked thus far.
