Yes, it has a strong rubber smell as it is made of rubber. We are using it as a ramp to get over the lip of our garage as it's 2 inches above the driveway and it works well, and we didn't need to fasten them in.We're pretty happy with how durable these are and how well they've worked thus far.

These protectors are great! We use them to run our regular-sized (5/8 inch diameter) garden hose across the driveway. The hose fits nicely, and the protectors don't slip easily, even when we drive over them. I like the yellow striping as it makes the protectors quite visible, and this helps mitigate a tripping hazard.

This was exactly what I needed and at a very reasonable price! I was unable to run a pvc pipe under my drive for a water system so I have been running a hose across the drive. My wife would run over the hose when she got back from work and we would end up with hose leaks. I placed my 5/8 inch hose inside the track put three of these together and placed it over the seams in the concrete. Now my hose is protected!

These are excellent! Great quality and perfect to go across concrete for cabling.

These work great in the garage. It protects the water line tube that runs to the drain in the garage. Also a great way to help with how far to pull the car in the garage.

Channel is perfect to cover a large electrical cord to protect with vehicle traffic. The downside is that the material has a strong odor and can_ be left in a vehicle or occupied space until the outgassing smell goes away. (Approximately 1 month)

I just purchased an EV and went the route of having a portable charger plug into my newly installed 240V outlet. So I don't have a typical mounted "wall charger".I have to EVs so the charger had to reach both. After a few iterations I found the perfect set up for me.I only use ONE of the FOUR that came in this pack to actually cover the cable. The 240V cable is thick and fits perfectly in the single groove Cable Protector I purchased.The other three are actually used a reminder stops so the cars don't go to far into the garage.I put a wooden broom handle in the groove of one to prevent it from crawling deeper in with every bump, and a length of rebar I had under the other one.Very happy with my purchase!
