Doing a remodel project in the house. Totally gutted a bedroom, including taking out a load bearing wall. Used this, with a T post made from a 4x4 to support ceiling / roof, and then tore out the load bearing wall. Nice and sturdy, just make sure that you install it in a way it can't slip or get bumped out of position.

Bought 2 of these short jacks and a long one to lift up a sagging floor. They’re doing the job just fine. My only complaint is the silver bars you use to turn the jack aren’t that strong and do bend. Make sure to add some grease to the threads before use.
