Great value as it some job, it cut through a 160mm/ 6 1/2 inch by 75mm/ 3 inch rsj in less than 30 seconds you couldn't ask for more than that and the cut was square didn't vere off not like the abrasive wheel ones could. The base is about 2 mm folded steel which I was happy to see

Excellent saw it as very good clamping mechanism for holding material, used it only for few cuts but so far very happy

I am really impressed by the cutting performance. However, the clamping unit and is scale for angle is less than impressive. In fact it’s really bad. I’ll have to make my own modifications to be able to see the scale properly. I’ll put a mirror at the rear of the saw showing the scale from the “other side”. Having said all of this, this saw is excellent.
