The driveway markers come with a long drillbit. USE IT! unless you have loose soil and you can stick the markers in the ground with ease. They are reflective, somewhat flexible and strong. Once they lose their purpose, they can be used in the vegetable garden :D

We have a dark driveway with log edging. These make reversing a transit van in at night easy.

I use these as golf alignment sticks as they are pretty much the same and behave the same. Good coating with no hint of getting splinters. These are about 10cm longer than the usual alignment stick length and have a hollow centre instead of being a completely solid fibreglass stick (1 star off for this). I glue the pointy cap to the stick with UHU all purpose glue to make sure it won't get lost in the ground with frequent insertion and removal from the turf. Can recommend and much cheaper than the ones sold purposely for golf.
