This is the standard edge router budget model, it functions similar to the Makita and share the same accessories, to some extent. Budget routers are generally of lesser quality in all aspects. In this case the electrical cord is half the length, the speed control is not as precise and the accessories do not fit as well, and there is no storage box included. It also does not have the power off safety feature - this may be preferred if you mount it in a router table with a safety switch. This model is easy to use as an edge router, and easy to attach jigs and modifications, the included collet sizes make it flexible, size 8mm is recommended. You may want to add a collet extension, it is possible if extreme care is taken, but it's not a balanced solution, always start at low speed, feel and listen how the machine reacts as you increase the speed. This router i built for smaller bit sizes, for larger bits you need a bigger router. It is useful to have two routers, a small easy to use and a large for heavy duty work, you won't find an all in one. Start with the small, as it is easier to use and more fun..

La fresa funciona muy bien en sí el único problema es que para regular la profundidad de corte tiene un tornillo y una palanca que bloquea la profundidad de la fresa a la distancia deseada. Mi experiencia con maderas no muy duras y con profundidades por debajo de los tres milímetros es que esa palanca no bloquea completamente la profundidad de la fresa. Para poder usar y lograr un manejo aceptable tengo que bloquear la parte móvil con cinta de embalar. No sé si será un defecto en todas las fresas o si tuve mala suerte con esta que he comprado.

Best aardige kantenfrees. Ondanks dat de beschrijving aangeeft dat de motor een softstart heeft is dat niet het geval. Op hoogste snelheid geeft hij dan ook een aardige ruk aan je handen. Niet heel fijn. Prijs kwaliteit is in orde. Ik gebruik het zelf voor een freestafel, maar voor handwerk zou ik de originele Makita freesmachine nemen. Beter en veiliger.

Manque de précision, les guides ont trop de souplesse. L’interrupteur est mal positionné, ergonomie peu facile.

It's not great, but it fills the need I had and therefor I will keep it. The base is poorly made and I honestly can not use it at all. The machine it self works though. I bought this one as my extra and mounted it permanently in my router table since it a hassle to take it out every time you need it somewhere else. It's like it's a bit slow to start off and ramps up in speed after 10-20 seconds, but I don't mind. It feels sturdy enough to not break and explode in my face. The bit is easy to secure and it can tale most of the ones i use. All in all a solidly mediocre machine at a great price point.
