Put this on an older Yamaha bruin fit great. Do wish the wired controller could be removed and have a plug in style to it. Overall great power and easy operation.

mycket nöjd med den enda som man kan klaga på är att den fasta manöver enhetaen skulle kunna vara avtagbar , den jag fick fungerade inte på utmatning varken med fast eller fjärrkontroll,det var en kabel i manöverboxen som hade lossnat så det var bara att fästa den igen sedan fungerats den som den ska , kunde varit lite snabbare i indragningen

09-05-2026 This is an addition to my review at the bottom. My original review was written solely for the purpose of making other customers aware that, in certain respects, this product may not be the right choice for everyone. Subsequently, VEVOR contacted me and offered a full refund, even though I am no longer in possession of the product and therefore would not be able to return it. This is a very generous gesture and certainly not something I had expected or anticipated. I will therefore assume that VEVOR would also have been willing to arrange a replacement, as the product I received must presumably have been defective, with the expectation that a replacement would have resolved the faults and shortcomings I experienced. Based on this, I would now say that the product as advertised does not generally suffer from the issues I described in my original review, but that these issues appear to have been specific to the particular unit I purchased. Thank you to VEVOR for the positive and customer-oriented response. :-) - - - - - - - - - Below review from 07-27-2026 - - - - - - - - - This electric winch is complete rubbish. It is sold as a 4,000 lb / 1,800 kg winch. The reality, however, is that it has major problems pulling a boat onto a trailer when the total weight of the boat, including the engine and other equipment, is only 870 kg. The winch almost stalls under the load, and it is clearly struggling to operate properly. The winch is also extremely noisy — to the point where hearing protection is almost required. It is obvious that the gearing is cheaply designed and poorly manufactured. It sounds like poorly machined or incorrectly meshing gears, with metal grinding against metal. But, as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. The spring that is supposed to keep the cable under tension on the drum only works until approximately 4 metres of cable have been pulled out. After that, the spring no longer applies sufficient tension, and the cable starts trying to unwind itself from the drum. This, in turn, causes major problems when the winch is supposed to pull something in. The supplied mounting bolts are only M8, which is extremely flimsy and undersized. The idea that just two of these bolts are expected to withstand a pulling force of 1,800 kg is, in itself, contradictory. The battery cables are supplied with cable lugs with such a small mounting hole that they are effectively useless. They have to be cut off and replaced with proper cable lugs. And yes — everything has been installed correctly. This is not a “user error between the chair and the keyboard” situation.

Well made and comes with everything you need to mount it has simple and easy to use controls I'm going to be using it on a project here soon that I will post on YouTube. Update it is now 9/26/26 still a great winch have now added picture and video of it working on the load lift I put it on back when I ordered it.
