Very simple to operate and appears well constructed. The only negatives are that the supplied jug is difficult to pour from when full without spilling, otherwise ans excellent item that I would reccomend without hesitation.

I bought this because I have a breathing apparatus that requires water for the filter, oxygen machine too and a humidifier that uses 4 liters of water every couple of days, it wasn't only the cost of buying the water but, more than that, it was the huge amount of recycling I had to do with the empties, this little wonder has changed all that, I also have solar panels so I make water whilst the sun shines, winner winner what's for dinner.

Well worth considering its price. If you are considering distilling alcohol or any other volatile liquids I would take caution. First of all, the chamber is not fully sealed, there is a hole just by the condenser pipe, meaning vapor can escape. If you were to seal this hole, make sure pressure doesn't build up in the chamber. Second of all, the thermostat displays an incorrect temperature, as soon as I press any button the "real temperature" changes, which only signals unreliability in temperature readings. Works well when making small batch Gin from homemade ethanol. Tap water distillation is possible also.

Product arrived very quickly from Vevor, well packaged and complete with all that was required to use it straight away. I got the variable temperature model to distil isopropyl alcohol used in 3D resin print cleaning. The temperature was accurate and allowed me to do this. If you were looking to do the same, one note of warning... the silicone seal absorbs and expands the silicone seal and results in a substantial vapour loss. It must be replaced with a neoprene seal you make yourself. It is also advisable to remove the carbon filter and attach a silicone tube to the spout, long enough to reach the bottom of the container. This is to minimise vapour loss. Finally, distil IPA outside to prevent vapour build up indoors.

I am happy: had issues with this type of distiller before: sometimes rust inside (even though they claim to be stainless steel), also because I use economy night electricity, some models don't work in conjunction with a timer. This one seems to do everything and comes with filters, bottle, descaler. The lid fits very snugly better than sitting loosely on top. Also the best on price.
