Good value and does the job

Good value compared to price of others. However the two turn screw used to secure the handle in the upright tube are very basic. It’s not clear if the bottom one is used to secure the handle or to stop it from dropping lower into the base tube. Using only one means the handle is quite shaky when used. It also means the end of the turn screw scores the bottom of tube handle every time it’s turned. I have modified the handrail to prevent the handle from dropping down into the base tube. I’ve inserted a length of hard wood dowel that fits inside the base tube and allows the handle tube to rotate on top of it when in place. This avoids the need to overtighten the turn screws and ensures the handle remains at the ideal height.

The tub holds it down. It can still be adjusted slightly after install if needed. You can adjust to the perfect height.

I have mixed reviews regarding this item. As far as safety goes, it was something we really needed, and we use it all the time, but as far as functionality goes, I don’t think it measures up as well as I expected. The top bar/handle tends to move more than it should, and within days it appeared that it may start to rust. I think the design is great,as it sits under the hot tub and can’t tip over, the idea is great as we def need something to grab onto, but sadly, I don’t think the quality and functionality is as good as it should be., that handle shouldn’t be moving when you grab it to be steady. That said,.. It wasn’t the most expensive brand of this item either.

Was so excited to get it and put it together. However the side brace on the bottom has already broken and I have not used a month yet. Very disappointed.

I bought these because I wanted something sturdy to hold on to when entering and exiting the hot tub. Unfortunately, this was not sturdy and actually made it more dangerous for me. Wish I could get a refund. Instead its going into trash.

Needs improvement
88.9 - 144.8 cm
This handrail is in serious need of improvement. The issue is with installation of the down tube. There are two aluminum bolts soldered on to the tube. The first time I tried to assemble this, one bolt stripped completely and the other broke right off. I wasn't using much force--but too much. Vevor shipped a replacement tube. I managed to very carefully tighten the first nut to the point it would compress the lock washer. The second nut was touch and go--I had to use a vice grip to try to apply inward pressure to the nut so it would tighten rather than stripping the threads. I managed to compress the lock washer slightly and didn't want to press my luck. The issue is not only the soft threads of the bolt--it is also that when the component is powder coated, the coating on the threads impedes the nut, causing it to seize and then strip the threads rather than tighten. I tried using a lubricant, which may have helped a little. I didn't have a thread cutter! But really threads need to be re-cut so that a nut can tighten. The use of a soft aluminum bolt here creates real problems. Other than that, it seems to be working as intended, and I hope that those attachment points will hold up over time.
