The one you get is not the one pictured as others have said. The biggest down side is that the blade has no guard on the back side so I_e had to store it in a corner where my children can_ access it. Overall I tested it out on an old handmade journal and it cut through the card stock front cover and the 90+ pages of high quality paper like butter but didn_ cut through the last bottom layer of the card stock cover. Not a big deal as I wouldn_ normally cut the cover in here. The edge is smooth and it definitely has a clean factory cut which was the reason I purchased it. Overall, when my only local printer charges $7.50 per cut and can_ guarantee they are able to do it, this is a great investment if you are hand crafting journals!

Macht einen robusten Eindruck. Leider keine wirkliche Anleitung dabei. Auch der Anschlag muss vor Benutzung noch justiert werden.Mal schauen was der Dauereinsatz ergibt.

I bought this in 2014 and I thought the blade was not sharp anymore because the last few sheets on the bottom where always tearing and I had to really push to get it to cut. Well after reading through reviews I came across one that talked about rotating the red bar under the blade. It has eight sides that you can use. I just rotated it and my cutter is cutting like butter again! Seriously it just amazed me what a minute of flipping that red bar to another side did.

I am delighted with this cutter. My main use is cutting the binding off of books for use in a sheet-feed scanner. For this task, this cutter is outstanding, especially relative to the cost. If you set it up well, set your alignment fence right, clamp the paper in place, the leverage and sharpness of the cutting arm is incredible. On one smaller book I actually kept pressing, not realizing the book had been cut. I hardly felt the resistance. I regularly cut books that are .75-1.0 inches thick with no problems at all. I can't yet comment on durability, but the cutter feels very heavy and solid, everything handles firmly and it feels very sturdy. If you want to cut thick stacks, this is a great cutter for that.

I have owned this cutter for about a year now. Each month we cut hundreds of stacks of brochures and flyers and I am always amazed at how precise and clean the cuts are. Not to mention easy to use. We had owned about half a dozen different cutters before finding this one and they were all either tedious, ineffective and utterly useless with sloppy cuts that were difficult to align and jagged edges.This manual machine is very easy to operate and after a year of use it still cuts through stacks like butter. If you own a small business and are looking for a good cutter, you can stop looking, this one is it. This is undoubtedly one of the best purchases I have made for my business!

I'm a stationer and this thing is a game changer. I cut stacks of 140 lb watercolor paper, about 15 at a time, with no issues. Love it.

Lots of blood. Sliced my fingernail right off, as well as plenty of book bindings. This monster slices effortlessly. Stay away from the blade. Please be more careful than I was.
