This cutter sits on top of a tool case caddy, It cuts perfectly every book. Amazing how many sheets you can cut all at once.

It is very good at what it does, it is also very heavy. The blade cuts effortlessly, intact the first time I used it I didn't realise I had cut through and was still pressing down on the handle. Worth the money.

Great device, especially for the price. It is very sturdy, the mechanism to hold the paper is very strong, and the lever allows you to generate enough force for even thick volumes. One odd thing that others also noticed is that the sliding holder is not fully square, and if you use it you end up with cuts that leave the paper a touch shorter on one end than the other. But I just never use it, it's a bit clunky to move anyway, and only go by the markings on the bottom plate; doing so makes the cuts come out right.

Works great for cutting book bindings so I can spiral bound them

Works fantastic for large stacks of paper. Great buy would buy again!

I home publish books and this worked well to trim the edge of the book smooth. I don't know what is going on with the adjustable guide, but it really doesn't work well for me at all. I'd like something more stable, but otherwise, this machine functions well for the job I intended.
