So far I've had no issues with this thermal cam. I pondered long and hard over this or a FLIR and this one I just can't beat the price and to be honest I think its pretty close to the similar model FLIR if not better. Clarity of the image on the display is pretty darn good. I don't have another thermal cam to compare to unfortunately but this thing is fast and cheap! Can't beat that!

Works super good, made lense adapter for them to use on PCB. Paid for itself multiple times already!

A very good device - I use it a lot, you can see even the heat your steps on the wooden floor. Verry good for water pipes, electrical cables ..etc.

Works well. Resolution is sufficient for a home owners needs. Temperature accuracy greatly depends on your distance from the object being measured. When you pull the trigger a camera takes a photo of what you're pointed at so you can recognize it in case the infrared isn't detailed enough (i.e. when surfaces are all the same temperature and almost everything looks flat in the infrared photo). However this camera does not work well in lower light conditions. And I don't mean almost dark, we're talking poorly lit rooms are just grey/black. It has two "off modes", so to save battery hold the power button in until it shuts down. If you're going to use it again soon, tape the power button, this mode turns back on MUCH faster. Overall I am very happy with it. Its definitely not fit for a home inspector, but I found several sections of wall that had missing insulation which will save me hundreds of dollars over the next year once fixed.

Perfect for amateur use. I used it to see the heating pipes in the floor of my house. Works well also in -35 degrees outside in lapland without issues for shorter 10-15min period.
