8000 pound test

I have a big moving van. It lifted 5000 pounds but I had to press down on the handle pretty hard. Has anybody tested this thing at 8000 pounds?

For home use

The product is fine, but I think the price is a bit expensive. I bought 1.5 T because it was the "cheapest", I would gladly return it and buy a cheaper 2.5 T. I can't say anything bad, it does its job properly, but the price is not the best.
