The EV charger works really well. Doesn't get hot, even at 16A. I had to read the instructions to get it working at 16A. For some reason, it started out at 8A. The nice looking aluminum body can easily be scratched, but it's a tool, so not a big deal for me.
When running on a single phase, voltage and current values for three phases are shown on the screen. Should be zero for phase two and three.
The app is not great. It only lists values for one phase, so when running on three phases, I have to multiply the effect value by a factor of three. My guess is that there is only a current and voltage sensor on phase one.
I have not tested what happens when the charger is only connected to two phases.
