Really good vises

Mine arrived ready to work with just a tiny amount of clean up. Vise was smooth operating, and very clean appearance. The bottom of the one I got is very flat, like wringing flat. Keyways are 14mm. Jaws open to 4-7/8" plus you can move the rear insert to the back of the movable jaw for a total of 8-15/16" clamping. The keys provided look to be MIM parts but they work and you can always make 1/2" or 5/8" keys if you need to. Crazy good value. A++++++++++++. Oh, yeah, the holes on my table are 5-3/8" apart and the vise bolted down perfect with 1/2" bolts.

Richtig schweres, hochpr?zises Arbeitsger?t. Sehr robuste Spindel mit gro?em, leicht abnehmbaren Dreh-Hebel f_ m_eloses Herstellen gr??eren Anpressdrucks. War etwas von Gr??e und Gewicht _errascht (habe die 3-Zoll Variante genommen, die nicht immer lieferbar zu sein scheint), aber sehr wertiger Eindruck. Die etwas scharfkantigen R?nder habe ich in 5 Minuten per Minidrill und Mini-Flexscheibe ein wenig entsch?rft bzw. abgerundet. Wollte erst das entsprechende Pendant von R?hm kaufen (gleiche Preisklasse um die 50) , aber nach Lekt_e der Rezensionen bin ich bei diesem Maschinenschraubstock gelandet. _erhaupt kein Vergleich mit dem klapprigen Wolfcraft-Schraubstock, den ich bislang verwendet hatte. F_ mich eine TOP-Wahl in Verbindung mit meinem Proxxon Bohr- und Fr?sst?nder (BFB2000).

It comes a little gritty and in need of deburring. But honestly for the price, thats not a big deal. Great for general purpose machining. Is it a kurt? No. But you could buy four of these for that price. Holds well and is pretty beefy overall.

I may edit this the more I tram this vise, but its surprisingly well done. Only thing that wasn't to my liking is it has keys for Bridgeport size T-slots and NOT for the smaller 1/2 T slots on my G0704.I could have also used some vise mounting cleats/clamps for the side rails. Overall would buy again.

Seriously, I used the term beauty talking about a vise! When I took it out of the box, I couldn_ believe how well made it was! Every face is perfectly true and there is absolutely no play whatsoever in the moving jaw put a feeler gauge in one side and close it up, the other side is exactly the same gap, with no lateral movement. The only downside is that there are no clamping slots on the side, but I_l probably end up milling a slot in either side. For the price, you won_ beat this one!

Der Schraubstock kommt wertig r_er. Nat_lich kein 800 Euro Ger?t aber durchaus gut verarbeitet. Jediglich der Handknebel war nicht chromatiert sondern schwarz _er gepinselt. Aber das st?rt mich nicht. Top Teil!!
