I was pretty happy when I found this "trough door" mailbox as we needed a mailbox we could install in our front gate. It fits the intended purpose perfectly. It has been installed for a couple of months now and it seems the powdercoating is't as protective as I would have expected, so some faint rust spots are appearing. No big issue , I'm pretty sure that after a decent paint job this mailbox will serve us for many years to come.
